Sound sculpture (2010–11)

A composed sound installation of documentary voices on psychiatry, interwoven with prepared, non-standardised, micro-intervallic guitar sounds. From a metal tube object with built-in loudspeakers emerge variously superimposed fragments from an interview with a woman who was both a patient and a nurse in psychiatry. This audible archive of memories is juxtaposed with a documented guided tour through an art installation in a psychiatric museum. The interviews were conducted by Kathrin Franke.
